Around parts of the world with Mike
On this page I have published pictures taken by myself of places I have visited around the world I hope you like them.
The place I like most is England which is where I was born and live, some of the places I've visited you will find on this page they include National Trust properties and Holmfirth in Yorkshire.
One of the first places I went to was ITALY on that trip we (my wife and myself) visited Rome & the Vatican City where we saw the Pope we also went to Monte Casino.
One of the other places i have been to was EGYPT we had a cruise down the Nile to the Aswan Dam of which there are two dams the one the English Built and the one built by the Russians with the help of the Egyptians. We also visited the Valley of the Kings and Queens where we saw the tombs of the Pharaohs in the tombs were some wonderful paintings on the walls of the tombs.
One of the Other places we have visited was TURKEY. when there we visited one of the local markets, we went to Pamukkale, we also had a boat trip up the Dalaman River and saw the caves built high up in the rock face.
